About the Artist
Carol has recently returned to the medium of oil painting after an absence of nearly twenty years. There she studied Art textiles and ceramics, under Brian Davis, Peter Marmoy and David Jeremiah.
In the 1980s she had the opportunity to study design Technology (Resistant materials and technical illustration) at Brunel University and obtained an Advanced Diploma in the subject. |
In 2002 she took up oil painting again under the well-known illustrator and seascape artist. David Jenner. Carol still paints with David from time to time. Then in 2003 she undertook a study tour to Australia and studied for two months under Ken Farrow, a leading Australian impressionist painter, and Carmel Bunker.
